Vintage 1960’s Rare Los Angeles County Masonite Sign BIOHAZARD Oddities

Vintage rare and original late 1960’s painted Masonite Biohazard sign. This came from the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiners office. I acquired it from a good friend who retired from there after many years as a forensic pathologist. This was at the entrance to his lab before they replaced with new signs in the early 80’s. It measures 18″ x 12″. The back has some discoloring and has a waffled texture. There are a few small age spots on the front where the Masonite has become warped (see pictures). 8 Original Slide 1960s BLINKO THE CLOWN Los Angeles County Fair Amusement Park

Just the slide of the horse is dated 1965 and has the words’County Fair’ written on the mount. The rest of the slides were found with it. One features “Blinko The Clown”. Others look like they could have been taken at some huge man-made outdoor pool in Santa Monica or Venice or who knows? I get the impression these all might be taken on LA County fairgrounds but I have nothing to go on. Tried to identify that red clock tower in one of the shots but came short on that too. These images of the slides were shot with a digital camera against a light table. The color, clarity, and detail in the slides are sure to be much better than I’ve been able to show you with this method. I guarantee the item to be as described.
