The back of the badge is engraved with Sheriff Lee Bacas signature. Though not an exact replica of an actual deputys badge it is highly detailed with precise graphic features and also represents an element of Los Angeles County recent events. The badge measures 1 3/16 x 1 3/16, made of what appears to be highly polished nickel or chrome or silver plated metal and is convex in shape as is a real badge. The edge detail is stamped with a loop stitch pattern, lettering is black and the California State Bear is gold colored. It comes in the original cardboard box with felt card attachment. The back attachment fastener is of the high quality type not likely to fall off and become lost.
