The Animal Control titled badge is rare and in exceptional condition. The entire badge is made with lovely detail, an eagle sits atop the badge with head bowed and wings spread. The center shows a stylized plate with the number “5” and surrounding scrolls or banners that read: L. COUNTY DEPUTY” and along the base of the badge it reads: “POUND MASTER in blackened detail. VINTAGE: Circa 1900’s – 1910’s. SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2″ x 1-7/8″. CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Stamped nickel plated nickel, black paint. ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin with’C’ type catch. ITEM NOTES: This is from a police and law enforcement collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor wear, a scratch across the center near the number five, nearly all the nickel plated and black painted details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
