It is in good solid shape, has decent reflective, the inside and lining is in ok shape and has some tape. This is a Throwback Piece I created as a slightly more Modern Take on a Battalion Chief Helmet from the 1970s TV Show Emergency. The helmet front is pretty authentic looking. This helmet would look great in your Mancave. EMERGENCY – Squad 51 Collection. Great Piece for the Firefighting Collector. Have a GREAT Conversation Piece. Most of the used helmets I sell have seen firefighting use and were taken out of service due to age as per NFPA compliance. Although still structurally sound, they may have scratches, dings, tiny cracks, worn liners and dirt consistent with firefighting use. Some jurisdictions do not follow NFPA guidelines and this helmet may be usable for firefighting use so please follow your jurisdiction’s guidelines.
