This is one of many great vintage & antique items I’m currently listing from various estates. Please take a look at my other merchandise at your leisure. Rare Volume Report of a Highway Traffic Survey in the County of Los Angeles Regional Planning Commission 1937. 11 x 8 inches. Logo of the Regional Planning Commission on the title page, black-and-white frontispiece photographic image of Broadway looking North from Seventh Street, 7 maps (5 folding), diagrams, 4 tables; text clean, Few library marks. Black-titled green cloth, gilt outline of Los Angeles County on front cover, green endpapers, added plastic dust-jacket; binding square and tight, minor rubbing. This Survey is an up-to-date version of the 1934 edition and is expanded to include the downtown portion of the City. The intention of the Survey is to guide highway construction budgets on the basis of traffic needs. This is the more common edition of the above. This was withdrawn of the Los Angeles Public Library in 1941. Only a few subtle library marks which (in my opinion) add a nice local provenance to this particular volume. Book Measures 8 x 11 Inches. In Very Good ++ Condition. The item “Rare Book 1937 HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SURVEY in the COUNTY of LOS ANGELES with MAPS” is in sale since Sunday, July 26, 2020.
