This is a show stopping piece and incredible example of Pre Columbian art work. The Marker is carved with a skeletal deity with speaking glyphs emerging from his mouth. A second figural image is carved above the skull and there is hidden imagery throughout. Measures 12 diameter and weighs 30 lbs. This piece was deaccessioned from the Los Angeles County Museum and is accompanied with an Art Loss Register Certificate #8708(22).
