Los Angeles County Parks & Rec Hat Badge c. 50’s & Lawman Milan Hat with Trap Case
A rare bird of sorts… This is an obsolete County of Los Angeles Department of Parks & Recreation Hat Badge (Park Ranger type). Along with the ” The Lawman Genuine Milan” Campaign Hat on which it was worn. Also included is a protective campaign Hat Trap as shown. The company went out of business in 1968. I’m guessing this bage is from the same era. County Park & Rec. Department was created on July 1, 1944. The Hat Badge is in excellent condition as shown. The “Lawman, ” size 7 1/4, campaign hat shows use wear and has a cosmetic on the front left piched area of the crown. As can be seen in the photos, but is otherwise in sound overall condition. There is a name on the underside of the brim. The Hat Trap was distributed by Coppers Ltd. It has a Coppers date of 1989 in it. County Parks and Recreation Hat Badges are extremely elusive items. Is an outstanding example. Ships to the U. The item “Los Angeles County Parks & Rec Hat Badge c. 50’s & Lawman Milan Hat with Trap Case” is in sale since Monday, February 20, 2017.
