Please take a look at our store categories and merchandise. Group of Fourteen Vintage B&W Negatives Tourist Site in L. There are a few different size negatives in the lot. Most are about 2.5 x 4.5. Others are 2.25 square. A few are between those two sizes. These were taken either late 1940s or early 1950s. Local Mexican American family. Believe one of the patriarchs was an LAPD officer. There’s one photo that shows one husband in police uniform. We see images from Olvera Street, in front of Cafe Caliente restaurant (it was at 20 Olvera Street), in front of Joy Luen Low restaurant located at 425 Gin Ling Way in New Chinatown. We see a few images taken at San Juan Capistrano. The pictures at the beach are confusing. Could be Santa Monica / could be Pierpoint Landing in Long Beach, Redondo Beach, or??? ANYWAY – some fun nostalgia for So. I shot these with a camera against a light table and then reversed the images with free downloadable’paint’ software. Very Good + Condition: Some Wear.
