This design is for the exhibition held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art from 1994 to 1995. The main visual features a photograph of David Byrne, known for his work with Talking Heads. Printing Method: Four-color offset printing. Artist’s Signature: None. Annie Leibovitz was born in Waterbury, Connecticut. Her father was a Romanian-Jewish Air Force Colonel, and her mother was an Estonian-Jewish modern dance teacher. While studying painting at the San Francisco Art Institute, she worked for Rolling Stone magazine. In 1973, she became the chief photographer at Rolling Stone and gained fame for her work on The Rolling Stones’ tour in 1975. In 1980, she photographed John Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono. A few hours later, John Lennon was assassinated, and the photograph became the cover of Rolling Stone’s tribute issue. In 1983, she moved to Vanity Fair. Her 1991 cover featuring a pregnant Demi Moore sparked controversy. In 1998, she joined Vogue and began working in fashion photography. In 2013, she received the Prince of Asturias Award for Communication and Humanities. The rolled poster is placed in an OPP bag. The sides are protected with cushioning material to prevent wrinkles or damage. The poster is then placed in a sturdy cardboard tube.
